The cold gets in at the shin first. These come up to the knee with a warm lining inside, so a walk into town in January is something you do rather than something you endure. Worn with a skirt or over jeans, they are the pair that makes a cold day workable.
Why you'll love it
- Laces adjust the calf: set the fit instead of accepting the boot's own
- Warm lining: takes the edge off a January pavement
- Block heel: built to be walked on, not just stood in
- Under a skirt or jeans: knee high cover that keeps the leg warm
